You are invited to virtually attend IFCLA's 2nd Annual Lotería Night on June 17, 2021, from 7:00-8:30 PM CST!
As our biggest fundraiser of the year, Lotería Night supports IFCLA’s organizing efforts to build powerful relationships in the pursuit of human rights and social justice. The proceeds from this event ensure that we can continue to provide opportunities for education, advocacy, and accompaniment. And what better way to celebrate your continued investments in IFCLA’s future than with a virtual night full of joy, community, fun, and… you guessed it: Lotería! (For those who may not know, Lotería is a popular game in many Latin American countries that’s similar to Bingo.)
Throughout the event, you can expect some friendly competition, updates on IFCLA’s newest projects, and the opportunity to bid on some amazing silent auction baskets. You’ll also have the option to enjoy some delicious, locally-made, Mexican tamales and Salvadoran pupusas.
How does virtual Lotería work?
Because Lotería Night is virtual this year, we’re getting creative with how we’ll play! When you register for Lotería, you will have the option to register as a team of up to six people, or as an individual. (We will randomly create teams for our individual registrants.)
Between each Lotería round, teams will go into individual Zoom breakout rooms and tally their points. The team with the most points at the end of the night wins a prize! For more details on how we’ll play Lotería virtually, click here.
